Chelmsford photographer featured on Vogue Italia

Featured in Vogue

Right now I am a very happy Chelmsford photographer featured on Vogue Italia. I’m very honoured and proud to say 2 of my photographs have been selected to feature along with some truly inspirational photographers.

These images were taken on a particularly joyful shoot last year. It was Uchechi’s newborn shoot and her gorgeous family Ganiyat, Okechi and big brother Kachi were full of love, life and super smiles. The reality of their family lives and the stunning connections between these happy humans shines though in these images. You can also see more images from this shoot featured on Vogue Italia on my blog, click here to see more.

My work has also been published in Essex Life, Exquisite Essex and even Jimmy’s Farm magazine. These wonderful publications are something I am very proud of. It’s a very special feeling when as a Chelmsford Photographer you get to open a magazine and see your own work inside.  I think when physical prints exist my work has become something real and tangible.

I’m also a fanatical photo printer, and I get such a thrill when I see your family photographs in print. I know then that they are living and they exist, and even if they only ever sit in a family photo box full of other precious prints they exist for some lucky person to discover one day. Maybe the hairstyles will get laughed at or the youthful chubby knees will pull at heart strings or maybe someone in them is no longer with us.  In that moment they don’t just become family photos, they then have the power to become our only link to the past and those memories.

“A photograph doesn’t feel real until it is a tangible physical object I can hold in my hand.” Stephen Johnson

It’s all well and good being a technical photographer (which you are!!) but it takes talent to capture that emotion…you’re an inspiration!
Can’t wait to book you again soon!
