Get ready for a blossom extravaganza, here are my Spring blossom shoots by Kika Mitchell Photography Chelmsford Photographer.
My Spring Blossom shoots have really kept this Chelmsford Photographer on her toes! Anyone who follows me on Instagram or my Facebook page will know all about my blossom watch and how the Beast from the East and the Mini-er version kept me guessing (and guessing…) exactly when the blossom would bloom. Even once it had started it to flower it was set back again. Anyhoo I digress…we got there in the end. And now my blood pressure has settled we can all enjoy the fruits of my labour. And it was certainly worth the wait. I’m thrilled with the final galleries. And I couldn’t have got these stunning photographs without the continued understanding and flexibility of my wonderful clients. So I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part.
“No matter how log the winter, spring is sure to follow.” Proverb
Spring is the very best of the British Seasons. Everything is literally bursting into colour, the grass, the flowers, the trees. But my fave colour of all has to apple blossom. It doesn’t have the deep pink of cherry but its pale, innocent, and exquisite beauty lies in it’s subtlety. Luckily for me it’s totally on brand too.
Lathcoats Farm in Galleywood, Chelmsford, is a truly fantastic location. It ticks every box for me and my children. We’ve been visiting since they were babies and I would recommend it for anyone local to Chelmsford or visiting. There’s a wonderful farm shop, the fruit orchards are out of this world, the staff are lovely, they sell yummy cakes and great food and they even have a little farm. Soon we will be there strawberry picking. And the selection of apple juices and local seasonal fruit and veg are out of this world.
So a big thank you to Phillip the farmer and his wonderful team for allowing us to use your the orchard as our location.

Hope you enjoy looking at these wonderful photographs. Don’t forget to let me know if you are interested in taking part in my next round of Mini Sessions. I might be doing my Autumn Apple Orchard sessions but if you don’t let me know you are interested I won’t know so don’t forget to head to the comments section below and write me a little message. I can’t wait to meet you.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog. Love Kika x

Hiya,
I love your photos, they are just beautiful. I know the Terry family and so their photos led me to your page. I actually met you recently at Lathcoats and we chatted over our boys both sharing the same name! Such a small World.
I would be very interested in having a spring shoot with my family (a long way off I know) and would love to be added to your list for next year please.
Kind regards
Chantal Cagle
Hi Chantal, I remember you of course. I was there today actually strawberry picking. THANK YOU so much for your lovely kind words, so kind of you. Of course I will add you to my Spring wait list. Have a great summer and thanks again x
