A VERY WARM
This part is all about me, the Chelmsford Photographer behind Kika Mitchell Photography. Hopefully by now you know you like my work, my smile and now you want to know more about me.
I had an incredible 23 year career in television. I travelled the world, directed celebrities on a daily basis, watched my name on the credits and made all my crazy ideas come to life. I worked for the BBC, Sky, and ITV, primarily on This Morning and Loose Women.
Then my life long dream of becoming a mother finally became a reality, and then everything changed.
My obsession with documenting every detail of my children led me to realise that I was pretty good at operating the camera myself. Light, creativity and composition come naturally to me. And all my experience with people means I know how to make you feel at ease. When you are relaxed you will forget all about me and simply connect with your special people, and the result is beautifully relaxed images.
My work has won awards, been published in magazines, and I’m very proud to have had my photographs featured by Vogue Italia.

The gift of a lockdown baby. Introducing Fraser, what a lucky little chap he is. And an utter joy to photograph. He was so alert and didn't stop smiling at my camera. He was looked after by his furry brothers Dougal and Innes who threatened to steal the show. They are...
